In order to provide consumers with uninterrupted, stable and high-quality electricity, the Central Aran Regional Electricity Supply and Sales Department carries out extensive construction work in the service area of Barda Electric Network. The electricity farm in the village of Mehdili in Barda, where the majority of the population is engaged in livestock and agriculture, was established in the early 60s and has fallen into disrepair in recent years. In the village of more than 1,500 residents, the loss of electricity was 30-35%. Azerishig”  OJSC is now completely rebuilding the electricity supply in Mehdili. Unusable supports and wires, as well as transformer substations and meters are being replaced with new ones.

35/10 kV “Yeni Hayat” substation is being reconstructed in Yenidash village of Barda region. The substation will supply high-quality and sustainable electricity to 8 villages with a population of  more than 7,000 people.  3  10 kV overhead power transmission lines come out of the substation where 7.5 MVA transformer is installed. The reconstructed substations also supplies electricity to more than 100 water artesian wells. This substation has an exceptional role in meeting the water needs of villages. The open substation will continue to operate indoors after construction is completed.
