Today “Azerishig” OJSC presented SMART card readers imported to the country. The presentation was made by Galib Hamidov, Head of the Information Technology Department of the OJSC.

This equipment will facilitate the work of more than 300,000 subscribers.

At present “Azerishig” OJSC has about 550,000 subscribers with smart card meters. There are two types of smart cards used by these subscribers. Currently, only a group of them will be able to use it. This means more than  300,000 subscribers. In the coming days, it will be possible to use it on other types of smart card meters. The new devices will allow you to download smart cards at home. After the innovation in the mobile application of "Azerishig" OJSC, it is possible to pay by connecting the "SMART card reader" to the phone. Currently, this is only possible on phones with the android operating system. But in the coming days it will be possible to do so on the Android platform. Their price will be around 18-20 manats. Subscribers will be able to get these devices from "ASAN utility" and "ASAN service" centers.
